Extreme close-up of a northern cardinal holding a sunflower seed, every feather visible

Count the feathers.

A 4K camera sits in the roof of the feeder, a hand’s width from where the bird lands. Not a wide shot of the garden — a close-up you can read.

Photos and video

Stills or clips, saved straight to the app.

135° wide, 45° down

Wide enough for the whole tray, low enough to see a bird’s back.

A robin on the feeder tray at night, lit in full colour

The night shift.

Most visitors come at dawn and dusk. Colour night vision doubles the hours you can actually watch — the bird stays orange, not a grey silhouette. Switch to high frame rate and a landing plays back as slow motion.

It knows who came.

10,000+ species, each entry written down with the time and the date. A morning at one feeder:

  • 05:42 — Northern Cardinal
  • 06:03 — Northern Cardinal
  • 06:31 — Blue Jay
  • 07:14 — American Goldfinch
  • 08:02 — House Finch

The app is free.

Live view, recorded clips, arrival alerts, a monthly recap of who came, and a community of other feeders to share it with. Species identification is an optional add-on.

On your phone

The log writes itself.

An alert when something lands, the live view when you want it, and a record of everything in between.

Arrival alert

A push the moment something lands, with the species already named.

App screen showing the live 4K view of a blue jay at the feeder with the species identified as Blue Jay

Live view, 4K

Watch it live, clip it, or sound the siren — all from the same screen.

App screen showing today's log: five visits listed by time and species

Today's log

Every visit, kept by time and species. Nothing to write down yourself.

App screen showing a recorded clip of a blue jay with a timeline, four frames and a three-second duration

One clip, frame by frame

It records the visit by itself. Three seconds, kept in your library.

In the app

Seven things it does while you are not looking

Goldfinch in the moment of landing on the feeding tray, wings still open

Instant alerts

A bird lands, your phone tells you. No sitting by the window.

Two blue tits at the wooden tray, one perched and one flying in

Live and replay

Watch it live, or scrub back to the clip from an hour ago.

Save and share

Keep the clip, send it to whoever would enjoy it.

Two-minute pairing

Scan, join the Wi-Fi, done. No hub, no cable run.

App screen: this month, 142 visits across six species shown as a bar chart

Who came, when

Species, time and date, kept as a running list of your visitors.

Daily highlights

The best frame of the day, picked out for you.

App screen: a library of saved clips with a cloud check on each one and a 30-day history

Cloud storage

Clips are kept in the cloud for 30 days, so they are not sitting on a card you have to swap.

Smart bird feeder on a post in bright sun, the solar panel in the roof catching the light

Sunlight does the work.

The solar panel is built into the roof, so it charges where it hangs — no cable, no taking it down. A 5,500 mAh battery holds up to 14 days on standby; how long it lasts depends on how busy your feeder is.

Smart bird feeder hung from a tree by a fabric strap in the rain, water beading on the wooden roof

Built to stay outside.

IP65, and rated for -4°F to 122°F. It hangs in the rain and the snow and keeps working.

Fill it less

A wide flip-open roof, so refilling takes seconds.

Take it apart

The seed bin lifts out and washes clean.

Scare off squirrels

Play a siren from the app when one starts raiding.

Never runs empty

It watches the seed level and tells you when it is running low.

View from the feeder camera looking down at the whole seed tray with a blue tit feeding

135° wide. 45° down.

Wide enough to catch a bird crossing the tray, angled down far enough to read its back rather than its silhouette.

Questions we actually get

How do I watch birds on my phone?

Pair the feeder with the app and the live view opens straight away. Live streaming, recorded clips and arrival alerts are all free.

Can more than one person watch?

Yes. Share the feeder with as many people as you like. Guests get the live view and the clips; they can’t change your settings or delete anything.

Is the AI identification included?

No — species identification is a subscription with a daily quota. Everything else in the app is free.

How long does the battery last?

Up to 14 days on standby with no triggers. The busier your feeder is, the more it records and the more often it needs the sun.

Do I need to take it down to charge it?

No. The solar panel is built into the roof, so it charges where it hangs.

Does it survive winter?

It is rated IP65 and made for −4 °F to 122 °F, so it stays out through the rain and the snow.

What does the warranty cover?

2 years from delivery, plus support for as long as you own the feeder. If something fails in normal use, we replace or repair it.
